On August 20th, the founder and CEO of Kor.Le.Kour, Priscilla Agyeman, kicked off our jewelry making out of recycled glass training sessions as part of our ECOFEM program.
The first session was on color theory as the women learnt about colors and how to combine them for fashion products. By the end of the several weeks of training sessions to come, the women will be able to start their own earring making businesses as they will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to do so. Plus they will receive from Mckingtorch Africa support to set up their business as part of the benefits from the ECOFEM program.
The Mckingtorch ECOFEM program is an empowerment intervention in partnership with WUSC Ghana, Global Affairs Canada, UNFPA Ghana and PAYDP Ghana.
