On August 13th, we had the honor of hosting one of our partners, Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), Air Pollution/Quality Program entitled Youth Conversations on Clear Air at our facility in Adenta as we all keep working to achieve cleaner and safer air for our people. The event seeked to bring together young people and youth-led organizations to discuss innovative solutions for air quality challenges and explore the role of youth in combating climate change.
The challenges faced on such projects were extensively discussed with Mr Desmond of GAYO sharing reasons why we cannot give up the fight as clear air is vital for our health and the environment.
The event also featured several businesses, much like Mckingtorch Africa, who are using waste to create new sustainable products like concrete and fashion items. It was our pleasure to host such a great event and have so many visitors at our facility.
