In February 2024 during WUSC Ghana World University Service of Canada (WUSC-EUMC) conference in Ottawa Canada, Mckingtorch Africa artpiece called Sustainable Communities and Cities was on exhibition. The piece was made by our founder Makafui Awuku and Mckingtorch Volunteer Rebecca Mensah who spend several weeks piecing together shredded plastic waste bottles, plastic bag sheets, fabric waste, brown cardboard paper to bring to live this beautiful piece called Sustainable Communities and Cities. The artpiece will be exhibited in a number of cities in Canada over the next couple of months.
